Scope and Contents
This sub-series contains audiovisual materials made for the WJZ-TV television show, Evening Magazine. Evening Magazine was a locally produced prime-time access series that aired on the Group W stations in Baltimore, Boston, Philadelphia, Pittsburg and San Francisco. On some other stations around the country the show was designated "PM Magazine".

Processing Information
Years before MARMIA's acquisition of this collection, PM Magazine was thought my processors to be a separate series from "Evening Magazine" due to the fact that they items had different labels indicating "PM Magazine" and "Evening Magazine". It is believed these labels were used interchangeably at WJZ-TV since they received the labels from their Group W parent company, which had some affiliates who called the show "PM Magazine". MARMIA decided to make "PM Magazine" a sub-series of "Evening Magazine" to maintain physical control over the collection since relabelling of the "PM Magazine" boxes would be too time-consuming.
